Mandatory tourist shot

Spent the day venturing around Sea World in San Diego, CA. Despite being the two oldest kids in the park, I found this place incredible and home to some of the most wild, well trailed, and fascinating creatures that inhabit our world. Although keeping animals out of their natural habitat is concerning, bringing inner city kids and suburban families face to face with some of natures most complex and impressive creatures is a one of a kind opportunity. My hope is that these places inspire kids to explore the natural world and remove television as their primary medium of knowledge. Perhaps I'm too optimistic, but I would be hard pressed to believe someone finds a TV station more intriguing than being inches away from exotic animals.
